Magnetically induced local lattice anomalies and low-frequency fluctuations in the Mott insulator La2O3Fe2Se2

چکیده
We report a study of the Mott insulator ${\mathrm{La}}_{2}{\mathrm{O}}_{3}{\mathrm{Fe}}_{2}{\mathrm{Se}}_{2}$ by means $^{139}\mathrm{La}$ nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR). The NQR spectra evidence single La site in paramagnetic phase and two inequivalent sites, La1 La2, antiferromagnetic phase. These sites are characterized different couplings, indicative distinct lattice configurations segregated domains. dependence coupling for La2 on temperature suggests that structural distortion is driven magnetic order parameter. transverse relaxation rate $1/{T}_{2}$ evidences fluctuations with characteristic frequencies well below Heisenberg exchange frequency likely associated nematic fluctuations.

Spontaneous low-frequency fluctuations in the BOLD signal in schizophrenic patients: anomalies in the default network.
Spontaneous low-frequency fluctuations in the blood oxygen level-dependent (BOLD) functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) signal have been shown to reflect neural synchrony between brain regions. A "default network" of spontaneous low-frequency fluctuations has been described in healthy volunteers during stimulus-independent thought. Negatively correlated with this network are regions activ...
متن کاملWeyl Mott Insulator
Relativistic Weyl fermion (WF) often appears in the band structure of three dimensional magnetic materials and acts as a source or sink of the Berry curvature, i.e., the (anti-)monopole. It has been believed that the WFs are stable due to their topological indices except when two Weyl fermions of opposite chiralities annihilate pairwise. Here, we theoretically show for a model including the ele...
متن کاملInhomogeneity in doped Mott insulator
We introduce the concept that there are two generic classes of Mott insu-lators in nature. They are distinguished by their responses to weak doping. Doped charges form cluster (i.e. distribute inhomogeneously) in type I Mott insulators while distribute homogeneously in type II Mott insulators. We present our opinion on the role inhomogeneity plays in the cuprates.
متن کاملFerromagnetism in the Mott insulator Ba2NaOsO6.
Results are presented of single crystal structural, thermodynamic, and reflectivity measurements of the double-perovskite Ba2NaOsO6. These characterize the material as a 5d1 ferromagnetic Mott insulator with an ordered moment of approximately 0.2microB per formula unit and TC=6.8(3) K. The magnetic entropy associated with this phase transition is close to Rln2, indicating that the quartet groun...
