The article features the macro-concept of kin and its symbolic signs. idea is embedded in many concepts Russian culture, directly or indirectly indicating mental schemes they have common. However, has received no comprehensive analysis associative-figurative layer. author described signs behind motivation using proverbs from V. I. Dahl’s dictionary that contain national-cultural layer figurative transformation. methodology involved an definitions, as well descriptive interpretive methods. by highlighting such origin, heredity, kinship belonging to a community people with some permanent distinctive features. revealed group about tribe three motivating features: human nature, social characteristics. was through comparison images: person (father, mother, children), religious symbols (god), animals, fairy-tale characters (fool), parts body (palm, fist). In national collective consciousness, obtained various actualize following schemes: native place, environment, kinship, family, tribe, people, generation; intra-family intra-tribal relationships; rules, customs, traditions kin; attitude motherland; faith, God, power military community.
