چکیده
We present a new machine learning-based Monte Carlo event generator using generative adversarial networks (GANs) that can be trained with calibrated detector simulations to construct vertex-level free of theoretical assumptions about femtometer scale physics. Our framework includes GAN-based folding as fast-surrogate model mimics simulators. The is tested and validated on simulated inclusive deep-inelastic scattering data along existing parametrizations for simulation, uncertainty quantification based statistical bootstrapping technique. results provide the first time realistic proof concept mitigate theory bias in inferring distributions needed reconstruct physical observables.

Event Generator Benchmarking for Proton Radiography Applications
We have benchmarked the QGSM code and event generators of the MARS and LAHET3 codes as potential candidates for high-energy programs to be used in simulations for the Proton Radiography (PRad) Project. We have compiled from the literature experimental data on spectra of particles emitted from proton-induced reactions at incident energies from 30 GeV to 70 GeV on different nuclei and have perfor...
متن کاملELRADGEN: Monte Carlo generator for radiative events in elastic electron–proton scattering
We discuss the theoretical approach and practical algorithms for simulation of radiative events in elastic ep–scattering. A new Monte Carlo generator for real photon emission events in the process of elastic electron–proton scattering is presented. We perform a few consistency checks and present numerical results.
متن کاملLABSMC: Monte Carlo event generator for large-angle Bhabha scattering
A Monte Carlo event generator is presented. An original algorithm is developed to simulate electron–positron scattering at energies and momentum transferred much more than the electron mass. The first-order electroweak radiative corrections are included completely. Higher order corrections are taken into account by means of electron structure functions. متن کاملHard Processes in Electron-proton Scattering
This report summarizes some of the recent HERA results obtained by studying hard processes in ep–scattering. By resolving the structure of the proton, hard ep– reactions provide information on the parton content of the proton and may give insight into the dynamics of the exchanged parton cascade. In addition, their study offers the possibility to test the Standard Model, in particular perturbat...
متن کاملINELASTIC ELECTRON-PROTON AND y-PROTON SCATTERING, ANDTHESTRUCTUREOFTHENUCLEON*
aA model for highly inelastic electron-nucleon scattering at high energies is studied and compared with existing data. This model envisages the proton to be composed of point-like constituents (“partons”) from which the electron scatters incoherently. We propose that the model be tested by observing y-rays scattered inelastically in a similar way from the nucleon. The magnitude of this inelasti...
