چکیده
Abstract Background The aim of this retrospective study is to assess the incidence and type lung perfusion abnormalities in non-hospitalized patients diagnosed with mild COVID-19 infection after de-isolation. Data from 56 referred our nuclear medicine department July–December 2020 for a only SPECT/CT or ventilation were collected. Images assessed presence defects. CT component was also mosaic attenuation COVID pneumonia changes. Results Thirty-two (57.1%) cases had There 20 (35.7%) defects keeping pulmonary embolism, 17 (30.4%) associated but not due 6 (10.7%) infiltrates pneumonia. A total 24 (42.9%) on CT, 10 (17.9%) them showing pattern likely consistent shunting images. Conclusion Lung are common finding disease. They usually either parenchymal infiltrates, other causes related to, specific pathophysiology infection. value VQ imaging shown study, detecting differentiating various types abnormalities.

Spurious lung perfusion ventilation defect on planar ventilation-perfusion scan detected by SPECT imaging
Pulmonary embolism (PE) is a preventable cause of morbidity and mortality which needs prompt recognition. Ventilation-perfusion (V/Q) scan is a well-established diagnostic test for evaluation of suspected PE. We report a 32-year-old woman with history of rheumatologic disease and acute dyspnea, who was referred for V/Q scintigraphy. The planar images revealed multiple mismatched defects through...
متن کاملCovid-19 manifestation on Tl-201 myocardial perfusion SPECT/CT
A 67 years old woman was referred to nuclear medicine center for myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) for assessment of ischemic heart dieses (IHD).She had a history of atypical chest pain and dyspnea since about 10 days before admission. The MPI SPECT/CT was performed by stress/redistribution Tl-201 protocol. MPI was interpreted as relatively good coronary flow with no appreciable stress induced...
متن کاملTwo-day stress-rest lower limbs perfusion scan in patients referred for myocardial perfusion imaging
Introduction: Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) is a major cause of morbidity and is associated with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD). We aimed to perform Lower Limb Perfusion Scan (LLPS) in patients referred for Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (MPI) and estimate prevalence of PVD in subgroups with normal and abnormal MPI results. We also compared quantitative indices of LLPS in pati...

Background and Objective: COVID-19 has enforced high burden on health systems universally. To better allocate limited health equipment, we aimed to investigate the prognostic impacts of laboratory parameters. Materials and Methods: All SARS-CoV-2 patients admitted to Imam-Reza University Hospital, Mashhad, Iran, during three COVID19 peak periods in Iran (March to April 2020, July to August, an...
متن کاملIsolated lung perfusion.
Isolated lung perfusion (ILP) has been historically used as a method to study basic lung physiologic concepts using animal models. More recently, ILP has been applied in lung transplantation and thoracic oncology. In lung transplantation, ILP has been used to assess physiological integrity of donor lungs after the organ is removed from the donor. This procedure is called Ex vivo Lung Perfusion ...
