LUMINESCENT PROPERTIES OF Nd(III) COMPLEXES WITH ETHYLENEDIAMINE-N,N'-DISUCCINIC AND N,N-BIS(PHOSPHONOMETHYL)-2-AMINOPROPIONIC ACIDS

An analysis of the fluorescent characteristics ethylenediamine-N,N'-disuccinic and N,N-bis(phosphonomethyl)-2-aminopropionic acids was carried out depending on pH solutions. It established that change in fluorescence intensity lifetime is associated with formation variously protonated forms which stable H-cycles are formed participation hydrogen bonds. The energies singlet triplet levels ligands were experimentally determined, values higher than energy radiative level Nd(III) ion, indicates possibility intramolecular transfer excitation to resonance lanthanide ion. both homo- heteronuclear complexes exhibit 4f-luminescence near-IR region. found for phosphorus-containing there an increase luminescence relative quantum yields comparison aminocarboxylate analogs.
