Low-spin particle-core and hole-core excitations in <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:mmultiscripts><mml:mi>Ca</mml:mi><mml:mprescripts /><mml:none /><mml:mrow><mml:mn>41</mml:mn><mml:mo>,</mml:mo><mml:mn>47</mml:mn><mml:mo>,</mml:mo><mml:mn>49</mml:mn></mml:mrow></mml:mmultiscripts></mml:math> isotopes studied by cold-neutron-capture reactions

We present recent results on the structure of one-valence-particle $^{41}$Ca and $^{49}$Ca, one-valence-hole $^{47}$Ca, nuclei. The isotopes interest were populated via cold-neutron capture reactions $^{40}$Ca(n,$\gamma$), $^{48}$Ca(n,$\gamma$) $^{46}$Ca(n,$\gamma$), respectively. experiments performed at Institut Laue-Langevin, within EXILL campaign, which employed a large array HPGe detectors. $\gamma$ decay level schemes these nuclei investigated by $\gamma$-ray coincidence relationships, leading to identification 41, 10, 6 new transitions in $^{41}$Ca, Branching ratios intensities extracted for from each state, angular correlations establish number transition multipolarities mixing ratios, thus helping spin assignment states. experimental findings are discussed along with microscopic, self-consistent beyond-mean-field calculations Hybrid Configuration Mixing model, based Skyrme SkX Hamiltonian. latter suggests that fraction low-spin states $^{47}$Ca is characterized coexistence either 2p-1h 1p-2h excitations, or couplings between single-particle/hole degrees freedom collective vibrations (phonons) doubly-magic "core".
