چکیده

(1) Background: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects low-dose non-thermal atmospheric plasma (NTP) on proliferation and migration human immortalized keratinocytes (HaCaT cells) its molecular mechanisms. (2) Methods: NTP HaCaT cells were detected by cell viability, wound healing assay, cycle, mitochondrial membrane potential detection, western blot, role reactive oxygen species (ROS) content in explored. (3) Results: Results showed that proportion G1-S phase transition, ability, expression Cyclin D1 STAT3 reached peak at 10 s treatment group, while viability PI3K, AKT, mTOR, ERK, WNT, β-catenin proteins 15 group. (4) Conclusions: These results manifested ROS produced promoted activating PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway also WNT/β-catenin pathway. Therefore, these will be useful for application healing.

The Role of Human Adult Peripheral and Umbilical Cord Blood Platelet-Rich Plasma on Proliferation and Migration of Human Skin Fibroblasts

BACKGROUND Wound healing is a complex and dynamic process following damage in tissue structures. Due to extensive skin damage caused by burn injuries, this study determined the role of human adult peripheral and umbilical cord blood platelet-rich plasma on proliferation and migration in human skin fibroblasts. METHODS Platelet-rich plasma (5, 10, 15, 20 and 50% PRP) from human umbilica...

Effect of non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma on MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells

Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) has received great attention due to its noteworthy ability, and has also been widely studied over few decades in physics, biology and medicine. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the cold atmospheric pressure plasma effects on the proliferation of breast cancer cells. MDA-MB-231 was used for this experiment. MDA-MB-231 cells were cultured in 24-well plate and...

Non-Thermal Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Efficiently Promotes the Proliferation of Adipose Tissue-Derived Stem Cells by Activating NO-Response Pathways

Non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma (NTAPP) is defined as a partially ionized gas with electrically charged particles at atmospheric pressure. Our study showed that exposure to NTAPP generated in a helium-based dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) device increased the proliferation of adipose tissue-derived stem cells (ASCs) by 1.57-fold on an average, compared with untreated cells at 72 h af...

Survival, proliferation, and migration of human meningioma stem-like cells in a nanopeptide scaffold

Objective(s): In order to grow cells in a three-dimensional (3D) microenvironment, self-assembling peptides, such as PuraMatrix, have emerged with potential to mimic the extracellular matrix. The aim of the present study was to investigate the influence of the self-assembling peptide on the morphology, survival, proliferation rate, migration potential, and differentiation of human meningioma st...
