چکیده
Dynamical quantum phase transitions (DQPTs) are criticalities in the time evolution of systems and their existence has been theoretically predicted experimentally observed. However, how system behaves vicinity DQPT its connection to physical observables remains an open question. In this work, we introduce concept Loschmidt amplitude spectrum (LAS), which extends Loscmidt - detector transition by considering overlap initial state all eigenstates prequench Hamiltonian. By analyzing LAS integrable transverse-field Ising model, find that undergoes a population redistribution momentum space across DQPT. quasiparticle picture, collective excitations around lower-half $k$ modes become dominant when approaches The is also applicable study dynamics nonintegrable models where have investigated model with next-nearest-neighbor interactions as example. system's magnetization found be connected products there exists simultaneous time-evolved pairs prequnech Hamiltonian possess spin configurations negative magnetization. Our findings provide better understanding characteristics out-of-equilibrium

Voltage Induced Dynamical Quantum Phase Transitions in Exciton Condensates
We explore non-analytic quantum phase dynamics of dipolar exciton condensates formed in a system of 1D quantum layers subjected to voltage quenches. We map the exciton condensate physics on to the pseudospin ferromagnet model showing an additional oscillatory metastable and paramagnetic phase beyond the well-known ferromagnetic phase by utilizing a time-dependent, nonperturbative theoretical mo...

A phase transition indicates a sudden change in the properties of a large system. For temperature-driven phase transitions this is related to nonanalytic behavior of the free energy density at the critical temperature: The knowledge of the free energy density in one phase is insufficient to predict the properties of the other phase. In this Letter we show that a close analogue of this behavior ...
متن کاملDynamical quantum phase transitions in systems with broken-symmetry phases.
In this Letter it is shown that dynamical quantum phase transitions in Loschmidt echos control the nonequilibrium dynamics of the order parameter after particular quantum quenches in systems with broken-symmetry phases. A direct connection between Loschmidt echos and the order parameter dynamics is established which links nonequilibrium microscopic probabilities to the system's macroscopic dyna...
متن کاملDynamical Quantum Phase Transitions in Systems with Continuous Symmetry Breaking
Interacting many-body systems that are driven far away from equilibrium can exhibit phase transitions between dynamically emerging quantum phases, which manifest as singularities in the Loschmidt echo. Whether and under which conditions such dynamical transitions occur in higher-dimensional systems with spontaneously broken continuous symmetries is largely elusive thus far. Here, we study the d...
متن کاملFirst-order dynamical phase transitions.
Recently, dynamical phase transitions have been identified based on the nonanalytic behavior of the Loschmidt echo in the thermodynamic limit [Heyl et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 110, 135704 (2013)]. By introducing conditional probability amplitudes, we show how dynamical phase transitions can be further classified, both mathematically, and potentially in experiment. This leads to the definition of f...
