چکیده

Background: The aim of the current study was to assess fifteen-year life expectancy, cardiovascular events, fate limb, and risk factors with or without polyvascular disease in patients Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). Methods: We conducted a prospective cohort 1019 PAD patients. endpoints were Cardiovascular Cerebrovascular Death (CCVD), All-Cause (ACD), Major Adverse Events (MACE), and/or Limb (CVLE). Results: who died 539 (52.9%) during follow-up periods. rate CCVD 50.5% (n = 272). In multiple regression analysis, number affected arteries had correlations estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR), HDL-cholesterol, Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABI), diabetes (p cholesterol, CVD CHD) correlated ABI, eGFR, significant CCVD, ACD, MACE, CVLE 0.05). Cox multivariate analyses, age, Critical Ischemia (CLI), albumin, C-Reactive Protein (CRP), Body Mass (BMI), CVD, CHD related Conclusions: Polyvascular independently associated mortality, limb diverse

Long-term prognosis of patients with peripheral arterial disease with or without polyvascular atherosclerotic disease.

AIMS Patients with peripheral atherosclerotic disease often have multiple affected vascular beds (AVB), however, data on long-term follow-up and medical therapy are scarce. We assessed the prevalence and prognostic implications of polyvascular disease on long-term outcome in symptomatic peripheral arterial disease (PAD) patients. METHODS AND RESULTS Two thousand nine hundred and thirty-three ...

Prognosis of patients with peripheral arterial disease.

The incidence of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is on the increase and is associated with a major health concern in current practical care. The most common disease process underlying PAD is atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis is a complex generalized disease affecting several arterial beds, including the peripheral and coronary circulation. Especially in patients with PAD, high incidences of co...

Long-term prognosis of patients with peripheral arterial disease: a comparison in patients with coronary artery disease.

OBJECTIVES This study was designed to compare the long-term outcomes of patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) with a risk factor matched population of coronary artery disease (CAD) patients, but without PAD. BACKGROUND The PAD is considered to be a risk factor for adverse late outcome. METHODS A total of 2,730 PAD patients undergoing vascular surgery were categorized into groups: ...

Prevalence of Peripheral Arterial Disease in Diabetic Patients

Objective: Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) is a state characterized by atherosclerotic occlusive disease of lower extremities. Diabetes is the main risk factor for PAD. Material and Methods: To assess the prevalence of PAD, a cross sectional study was performed on 352 diabetic patients who referred to Yazd diabetes research center from 2007 to 2010. Vascular assessment was done by measuring ...

Long-term prognosis of polyvascular patients with associated chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate by various tools the prognosis of the polyvascular patients (defined as the presence of more than one affected vascular bed), who also associate chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. MATERIAL AND METHODS Fifty-eight patients discharged after an episode of acute cardiorespiratory failure were examined at 3 month-intervals for 1, 2 and 3 years (2010-2012). The following w...
