Long-term outcome after arthroscopic debridement of Palmer type 2C central degenerative lesions of the triangular fibrocartilage complex

The purpose of this study was to report long-term objective and patient-reported outcome after arthroscopic debridement central degenerative triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) lesions. A total 17 patients with TFCC (Palmer type 2C) lesions ulnar positive variance who were treated by retrospectively reviewed. Mean follow-up 8.8 years. Assessment facilitating the Modified Mayo Wrist score (MMWS), Disabilities Arm, Shoulder, Hand questionnaire (DASH score), recording pain level patient satisfaction, radiological examination done. No significant differences could be detected between operated contralateral extremity regarding range motion grip strength for all patients. perioperative complications occurred.
