Long-term analysis of indoor air quality and thermal comfort in a public school

Abstract The paper is focused on the investigation of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in two classrooms from a thermal renovated school Bucharest, related to indoor carbon dioxide (CO 2 ), ozone (O 3 ) concentrations or airborne particles (PM2.5), by using experimental data. campaign has been conducted over long period (February-June 2022), allowing study air quality under different weather data conditions. results showed that use classroom ventilation mandatory order reach satisfactory degree comfort and even natural windows opening remains simply useful tool lower pollutant concentrations. However, if target ensure permanent good these learning spaces, mechanical system more adapted than ventilation, due fact it independent factors variation (outside temperature wind velocity direction).
