چکیده

Abstract Freight transportation is of high importance and used to determine the region’s economy. Typically, effective freight systems are related decreasing costs moving goods from logistics facilities. The city Baghdad suffers many problems with land transport system, especially goods, among important things reduce current burden on network find most suitable sites for establishment warehouses distributed over each Baghdad. Multi-criteria Decision Analysis for Location Based Services

Location based services assist people in their decision-making during the performance of tasks in space and time. Current services support simple spatial queries, such as finding the shortest path between two locations or the nearest restaurant from the current location of the user. Three major limitations of present location based services are their insufficiencies in considering individual us...

GIS-Based Multiple-Criteria Decision Analysis

Important and complex spatial decisions, such as allocating land to development or conservationoriented goals, require information and tools to aid in understanding the inherent tradeoffs. They also require mechanisms for incorporating and documenting the value judgements of interest groups and decision makers. Multiple-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) is a family of techniques that aid decisi...

Personalized Multi-Criteria Decision Strategies in Location-Based Decision Support

Location-based services (LBS) assist people in decision-making during the performance of tasks in space and time. Current LBS support spatial and attribute queries, such as finding the nearest Italian restaurant from the current location of the user, but they are limited in their capacity to evaluate decision alternatives and to consider individual decision-makers’ user preferences. We suggest ...

A GIS-Based Sensitivity Analysis of Multi-Criteria Weights

Sensitivity analysis (SA) is a prerequisite for model building since it determines the reliability of the model through assessment of uncertainties in the simulation results. With growing interest in extending GIS to support multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods, enhancing GIS-based MCDM with sensitivity analysis procedures is crucial. SA should be involved in GIS-MCDM model evaluation ...
