چکیده

Abstract Background Gastric cancer (GC) is among the most common and deadliest cancers globally. Many long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are key regulators of GC pathogenesis. This study aimed to define role HOXA-AS3 in this oncogenic context. Methods Levels expression were quantified via qPCR. The effects knockdown on cells function evaluated vitro using colony formation assays, wound healing assays transwell assays. Subcutaneous xenograft tail vein injection tumor model systems generated nude mice assess lncRNA vivo. localization within was confirmed by subcellular fractionation, predicted microRNA (miRNA) targets its ability modulate downstream NF-?B signaling luciferase-reporter immunofluorescent staining, western blotting. Results tissues exhibited significant upregulation ( P < 0.05), levels found be correlated with size, lymph node status, invasion depth, Helicobacter pylori infection status. Knocking down disrupted cell proliferation, migration, metastasis vivo . At a mechanistic level, we that able sequester miR-29a-3p, thereby regulating LT?R modulating GC. Conclusion HOXA-AS3/miR-29a-3p/LT?R/NF-?B regulatory axis contributes progression GC, offering novel target for prognosis treatment

CUL4A promotes cell invasion in gastric cancer by activating the NF-κB signaling pathway

Cullin 4A (CUL4A) overexpression has been reported to be involved in the carcinogenesis and progression of many malignant tumors. However, the role of CUL4A in the progression of gastric cancer (GC) remains unclear. In this study, we explored whether and how CUL4A regulates proinflammatory signaling to promote GC cell invasion. Our results showed that knockdown of CUL4A inhibited GC cell migrat...

LncRNA BCAR4 promotes colon cancer progression via activating Wnt/β-catenin signaling

BCAR4 (Breast Cancer Anti-Estrogen Resistance 4) is a long noncoding RNA that was identified as an oncogene in breast cancer. In our research, we found that the expression level of BCAR4 was upregulated in colon cancer tissues compared to paired normal tissues. What's more, higher BCAR4 expression was correlated with lower survival rate in patients with colon cancer. Mechanistically, we showed ...

colorectal cancer and nf-?b signaling pathway

colorectal cancer (crc) is the second leading cause of cancer death. progress has been made in the development of chemotherapy for advanced crc. targeted therapies against vegf or egfr are now commonly used. however, many cases show that tolerance develops to such treatments; therefore, new strategies are required to replace or complement current therapies. nuclear factor-?b (nf-?b) transcripti...

Aberrant overexpression of ADAR1 promotes gastric cancer progression by activating mTOR/p70S6K signaling

ADAR1, one of adenosine deaminases acting on RNA, modulates RNA transcripts through converting adenosine (A) to inosine (I) by deamination. Emerging evidence has implicated that ADAR1 plays an important role in a few of human cancers, however, its expression and physiological significance in gastric cancer remain undefined. In the present study, we demonstrated that ADAR1 was frequently overexp...

Upregulation of long noncoding RNA HOXA-AS3 promotes tumor progression and predicts poor prognosis in glioma

Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have recently emerged as new potentially promising therapeutic targets in many cancers. However, their prognostic value and biological functions associated with glioma remain to be elucidated. Here, High-throughput RNAseq was performed to detect the expression profiles of lncRNAs in 325 human glioma tissues. It was shown that a novel lncRNA HOXA-AS3 was one of the ...
