lncRNA H-19 and miR-200a implication and frequency of lncRNA H-19 rs2170425 SNP in ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease

Abstract Inflammation’s impact on inflammatory bowel diseases is mostly due to altered non-coding RNA expression. This study aimed explore the rs2107425 polymorphism in long gene H19 (lncRNA H-19) and emphasize involvement of miR-200a lncRNA H-19 expression ulcerative colitis (UC) Crohn’s disease (CD). One hundred ten participants, ranging age from 22 58 years, participated current investigation study. Study participants were classified into forty healthy thirty-four patients with UC, thirty-six CD. Participants experienced a considerable elevation C-reactive protein, total leucocyte count (TLC), platelets, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), whereas noticeable decrease hemoglobin. Additionally, both have markedly increased miR-200a. The frequency CT + TT genotype rs2170425 lncRNAH-19 SNP was linked susceptibility IBDs. can be used as non-invasive diagnostic biomarkers for follow-up disease.
