Linear Programming Coordination for Overcurrent Relay in Electrical Distribution Systems with Distributed Generation

چکیده

Electric power distribution networks are generally radial in nature, with unidirectional flows transmitted from the highest voltage levels to consumption levels. The protection system these is relatively simple and consists mainly of fuses, reclosers (RC) overcurrent relays (OCRs). installation distributed generation (DG) a network causes coordination problems between devices, because no longer can flow upstream substation. For this reason, work proposed here analyzes most significant impacts that DG has on devices proposes an adjustment method for OCRs based linear programming (LP) techniques aim improving their response time different faults may occur main feeder network. selected study IEEE 34 bus using DIgSILENT 14.1 software its modeling Matlab devices. Results indicate better achieved if LP used.
