چکیده
The manufacture of concrete using recycled aggregates (RCA) is an alternative used to reduce the exploitation natural resources and landfilling construction waste. This paper discusses suitability producing structural be exposed XC1-XC4 environment employing different percentages fine RCA (FRCA) coarse (CRCA) classified as type A. Two experimental phases were conducted in which 300 kg cement/m3 effective water:cement ratio 0.48 (Phase 1) 0.52 2) employed with CRCA FRCA aggregates. types properties determined physical (density, absorption, accessible porous), mechanical (compressive, splitting tensile strength, modulus elasticity), shrinkage, durability (sorptivity, water penetration). After exhausting analyses values code requirements, successful use a simultaneous combination up 60 % 30 was defined Phase 1. In addition, 50 20 2.

Bonding Behavior of Deformed Steel Rebars in Sustainable Concrete Containing both Fine and Coarse Recycled Aggregates
In order to assess the bond behavior of deformed steel rebars in recycled-aggregate concrete (RAC) incorporating both fine and coarse recycled aggregate, pull-out tests were carried out in this study on 16-mm diameter deformed steel rebars embedded concentrically in RAC. The concrete was designed using equivalently mixed proportions of both recycled coarse aggregate and recycled fine aggregate....
متن کاملCyclic Behavior of Low Rise Concrete Shear Walls Containing Recycled Coarse and Fine Aggregates
In this study, the cyclic behaviors of low rise concrete shear walls using recycled coarse or fine aggregates were investigated. Eight low rise Recycled Aggregates Concrete (RAC) shear wall specimens were designed and tested under a cyclic loading. The following parameters were varied: replacement percentages of recycled coarse or fine aggregates, reinforcement ratio, axial force ratio and X-sh...
متن کامل“recycled Plastics Used as Coarse Aggregate for Constructional Concrete”
Landfill sites are becoming over crowded and expensive for waste disposal, efforts are made to minimize the quantities of materials that are delivered to landfills. The threat due to leaching of non-biodegradable materials like waste plastics, scrap tyres. e-waste may contaminate the soil and ground water. If the production of waste cannot be prevented, then it is attractive to create an altern...
متن کاملMechanical Performance Evaluation of Self-Compacting Concrete with Fine and Coarse Recycled Aggregates from the Precast Industry
This paper intends to evaluate the feasibility of reintroducing recycled concrete aggregates in the precast industry. The mechanical properties of self-compacting concrete (SCC) with incorporation of recycled aggregates (RA) (coarse recycled aggregates (CRA) and fine recycled aggregates (FRA)) from crushed precast elements were evaluated. The goal was to evaluate the ability of producing SCC wi...
متن کاملRecycled Plastics as Coarse Aggregate for Structural Concrete
The use of plastic is increasing day by day, although steps were taken to reduce its consumption. This creates substantial garbage every day which is much unhealthy. A healthy and sustainable reuse of plastics offers a host of advantages. The suitability of recycled plastics as coarse aggregate in concrete and its advantages are discussed here. The initial questions arising of the bond strength...
