چکیده

Background. Lymph node metastasis in breast cancer is not only a variant of progression, but also associated with the development hematogenous metastases. The LIMCH1 protein involved mesenchymal type migration due to activation non-muscle myosin IIA. objective study was investigate association different expression variants lymph metastasis. Material and Methods. retrospective included 53 patients invasive carcinoma no special type. group all molecular genetic types (luminal A, luminal B, HER2-positive triple negative). median age 55.4 ± 14 years. According TNM classification, had stage T1–3N0–3M0 cancer. did receive preoperative chemotherapy. tumor cells assessed using immunohistochemistry. Anti-LIMCH1Prestige (HPA004184, Sigma Aldrich, Germany) anti-LIMCH1-C-term (SAB2700402, antibodies were used. Results. metastases more frequent cells. This true for cytoplasmic detected by CH domain, submembrane or LIM regardless localization cell. phenomenon morphological heterogeneity most unfavorable factor worse metastasis-free survival combination presence domain. Conclusion. synchronous domain primary tissue.

Breast Cancer Subtype is Associated With Axillary Lymph Node Metastasis

The purpose of this study was to assess whether breast cancer subtype (BCS) as determined by estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor, and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 can predict the axillary lymph node metastasis in breast cancer. Patients who received breast conserving surgery or mastectomy and axillary lymph node dissection were identified from 2 cancer centers. The associations...

Cyclo-oxygenase 2 expression is associated with angiogenesis and lymph node metastasis in human breast cancer.

AIMS Cyclo-oxygenases 1 and 2 (COX-1 and COX-2) are key enzymes in prostaglandin biosynthesis. COX-2 is induced by a wide variety of stimuli, and present during inflammation. COX-2 overexpression has been observed in colon, head and neck, lung, prostate, stomach, and breast cancer. In colon and gastric cancer, COX-2 expression was associated with angiogenesis. The aim of this study was to deter...

Clinicopatholgic Parameters Associated With Regional Lymph Node Metastasis In Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma: A Retrospective Study

Background and Objective: Oral cancer accounts for less than 3% of all cancers. Despite recent improvement in diagnostic and treatment methods, the overall survival of the disease is unfavorable. Several studies have been performed to assess factors influencing lymph node metastasis and prognosis. The aim of this study was to evaluate some clinical and pathological factors influencing lymph ...

Potential role of hsa_circ_0003098 circular RNA in breast cancer and its association with demographic factors and lymph node metastasis

Background and Objectives: A growing amount of evidence has revealed that circular RNAs (circRNAs), covalently closed single-stranded non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs), play significant roles in initiation and progression of breast cancer (BC) through different mechanisms.  This study aims to investigate the hsa_circ_0003098 expression and its potential roles in BC, as well as the circRNA/miRNA/mRNA cro...

Predicting sentinel lymph node metastasis in breast cancer with lymphoscintigraphy.

OBJECTIVE Lymphoscintigraphy is an effective method for detecting sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs). However, the rate and degree of SLN detection is not uniform. We quantified SLNs detected with lymphoscintigraphy, and investigated correlations with factors that may influence detection. We then attempted to predict SLN metastasis from lymph node counts, comparing the predictions to subsequent biopsy...
