چکیده
The building sector accounts for 40% of the total energy consumed in Europe at annual basis, together with relevant Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. In order to mitigate these impacts, concept and establishment Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEBs) is under continuous intensive research. fact, as used buildings’ operation becomes more efficient, impacts resulting from embodied become importance. Therefore, selection materials components high significance, affect performance potential environmental envelopes. objective this study perform a preliminary Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) on advanced multifunctional components, aiming achieve lower emissions NZEBs. analyzed are composite panels facade elements envelopes, providing thermal efficiency. design sustainable envelope systems expected upgrade overall buildings, including findings constitute unambiguous evidence need further research topic, substantial lack data concerning presented literature, adding growing discussion NZEBs whole life cycle perspective across Europe. This has shown that electricity required manufacturing phase examined main contributor climate change impact other categories assessed. Sensitivity analysis been performed indicated highly depended grid mix Taking into account current green transition by increase renewable sources production, well future processes, it will be mitigated. Finally, comparison between CLC insulator foam concretes literature showed do not present any diversions terms impact.
