A Lewis base-Brønsted acid co-catalyzed Morita-Baylis-Hillman reaction of cyclic sulfamidate imines with acrylate-type Michael acceptors has been developed. The combination equimolecular catalytic amounts DABCO and acetic proved highly efficient tolerated well a wide range substituted 6-membered ring imines, as sultam derivative. provides straightforward access to sulfamidates bearing ?,?-unsaturated chains, which allows for the further functionalization products. Moreover, robustness applicability method was demonstrated by performing gram scale MBH-adducts.
