Level of knowledge about basic life support of undergraduate students from the health area

Abstract: Introduction: Basic Life Support (BLS) refers to the procedures that must be performed in situations of cardiorespiratory arrest or airway obstruction, and therefore, undergraduate students health professionals highly trained perform. Objective: To determine level knowledge about associated factors among from area their last year school a public university. Methods: This is cross-sectional study with Physical Education, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medicine Dentistry at Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa, Brazil. Data collection was carried out 2019, month course completion, by researcher using self-administered questionnaire containing sociodemographic data, professional training, perceived self-knowledge validated BLS instrument.
