چکیده
Leukemia Cutis (LC) is a rare extramedullary cutaneous manifestation of leukemia that varies in terms clinical presentation, type, and timing presentation relation to systemic leukemia. LC typically presents following diagnosis during an active flare or relapse. An estimated 3.7% patients with Acute Myeloid (AML) develop LC. On exam, pink yellow firm papules nodules covered entire body surface except the groin axilla. One nodule held peau d’orange appearance. The overall asymptomatic, reported only increased fatigue. His CD4 count viral load were 136 330,000 respectively. punch biopsy revealed negative cultures for fungus, bacteria, acid-fast bacilli. Two biopsies sent pathologic evaluation AML skin. Bone marrow confirmed AML. Clinically nonspecific, symptoms rarely appear conjunction High suspicion histopathologic examination are necessary

Mixed Phenotype Acute Leukemia Presenting as Leukemia Cutis
Leukemia cutis (LC) is defined as infiltration of the skin by leukemic cells resulting in clinically recognizable cutaneous lesions. It is common in congenital leukemia and acute myeloid leukemia. However, LC has rarely been reported with mixed phenotypic acute leukemia (MPAL). We report the case of a lady who presented with erythematous papular and nodular lesions all over the body. Appendicitis in leukemic patients is uncommon but associated with increased mortality. Additionally, leukemic cell infiltration of the appendix is extremely rare. While appendectomy is the treatment of choice for these patients, diagnosis and management of leukemia have a greater impact on remission and survival. A 59-year-old Caucasian female was admitted to the surgical service with acute rig...

Abstract Background In Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), malignant clones of immature myeloid cells (primarily blasts) proliferate, replace bone marrow, circulate in blood and invade other tissues. The unique presentation of unilateral ptosis and unilateral eyelid swelling in AML has been reported during the present study. Case Report A 7-year-old girl was encountered with progressively increa...

carries a high mortality rate [4]. There is no precise data regarding the prevalence of ARDS during malaria infection; however, it is predicted nearly 20-30% of malaria patients admitted to ICU develop ARDS [5]. Proposed mechanism of development of ARDS is pulmonary vasculature dysfunction secondary to liberation of inflammatory mediators which increase vascular permeability, and parasitized RB...
