Disco – Novo
A hybrid algorithm is devised to boost the performance of complete search on under-constrained problems. We suggest to use random variable selection in combination with restarts, augmented by a coarse-grained local search algorithm that learns favorable value heuristics over the course of several restarts. Numerical results show that this method can speedup complete search by orders of magnitude.

متن کاملThe DISCO Network Calculator
Network calculus [1, 2] was developed for use in IP and ATM networks. It aims to be a system theory for deterministic queuing, allowing to derive deterministic guarantees on throughput and delay, as well as find bounds on buffer sizes and thereby allow for loss-free transfer. Traditional queuing theory analyzes the average or equilibrium behavior of a network, whereas network calculus shows the...
متن کاملDisCo Toolset - The New Generation
Formal methods have been considered one possible solution to the so-called software crisis. Tools are valuable companions to formal methods: they assist in analysis and understanding of formal speci cations and enable the use of rigorous techniques in industrial projects. In this paper, an overview of the new DisCo toolset is given. DisCo is a formal speci cation method for reactive and distrib...
