چکیده
Tetranychus truncatus Ehara (Acari: Tetranychidae) is one of the serious pests that infests different agricultural crops in field and greenhouse crops, its distribution limited to mostly Asian countries. The experiments were conducted know effectiveness concentrations bifenazate against T. truncatus, evaluate compare demographic parameters on host plant Lablab purpureus (L.) Sweet (Fabaceae), which obtained from females treated with bifenazate. LC15, LC30, LC50 LC90 values are determined through bioassay results first application adult truncatus. 0.417, 1.028, 2.591 24.792 ml/l, respectively. response two lethal (LC15 LC30) was alike but had a little bit difference. differences life table observed between control spider mites. demonstrated LC15 LC30 could reduce survival rate, oviposition period, fecundity longevity it significantly affected developmental times, especially larval duration Life-table much reduced compared their growth other factors showed significant differences. present study lower concentration tested acaricide negative effects survivorship life-table subsequent generation

Effects of Bt+CpTI transgenic cotton on the performance of Tetranychus turkestani (Acari: Tetranychidae)
Transgenic cotton is very effective in controlling targeted pests such as cotton bollworm (Helicoverpa armigera). However, increases in spider mite (Acari: Tetranychidae) populations have been reported in fields of transgenic cotton. The objectives of our laboratory experiments were (i) to determine host plant preference (transgenic or non-transgenic cotton) of T. turkestani females and (ii) to...

Leaf extracts of the walnut, Juglans regia L., were evaluated under laboratory conditions to determine their acaricidal activity on the mites Tetranychus cinnabarinus (Boisduval) and Tetranychus viennensis Zacher (Acari: Tetranychidae). Extracts had both contact and systemic toxicity to these mites. The four solvents tested for preparing crude extracts were petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl ac...
