Lessons Learned from the Colorado Project to Comprehensively Combat Human Trafficking

Countering human trafficking at a statewide level requires combination of knowledge from lived experience, inter-sector collaborations, and evidence-based tools to measure progress. Since 2010, the nonprofit Laboratory Combat Human Trafficking (LCHT) has collected analyzed data on how partners organizations across state work toward ending trafficking. LCHT uses Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) illuminate promising paths Through CBPR, many collaborative working documents activities have been created: Colorado Action Plans, Policy Recommendations, Partnership Toolkit, Convenings. This paper provides single case study analysis Project, 2013 through 2023, offers glimpse into goals for Project 2028.
