Leprosy with vascular involvement mimicking Buerger’s disease

Leprosy presenting with vascular involvement is very rare or probably under-reported. Arteriographic and histopathological analysis has shown in few individuals leprosy previously. It also been found that abnormality central to the pathogenesis of trophic ulcer nerve damage itself. A 37-year-old male presented our center pain, bluish discoloration recurrent ulceration digits hands feet twelve months duration. Investigations revealed diminished caliber brachial artery no other underlying abnormality. Dermatological review features primary neuritic confirmed by biopsy polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for Mycobacterium leprae positivity. This case highlights fact could rarely be a event cause Buerger’s disease-like manifestations.
