Legal Governing of e-contracts in Georgian Legislation

Technical progress has essentially changed the social world of humans. Civil turnover encompassed contracts already signed using e-means which saves time, consolidates commercial relations, and increases efficiency. This is one many reasons why signing e-contract in recent decades become popular worldwide demanding. Constantly promoting changing technologies put law against serious challenges. Aside international legal acts, it necessary to make amendments national legislation, together with characteristics harmony conventions directives. The global pandemic 2020 resulted special need for developing internet infrastructure (Smartloan.ge, 2020). paper focuses on examining legislation applicable Georgia field e-commerce, namely Code (1997), Georgian laws: “About e-communication” (2005), e-document free flow code” (2012),“About reliable e-service” (2017). Despite fact that indicated laws (particularly last two bills adopted years) at certain extent relevance acts acknowledged internationally, e-commerce subject not regulated perfectly. aim this only review above mentioned but also establishes some recommendations making perfect ecommerce. applies no regalements directly econtracts, customer, as well non customer contract governing mechanisms. Certain statements principles Code, addition about e-service, moment pre-contract stage regulates separate issues are specific e-communication does create principles. For purpose eradicating discrepancies, exact regalement by adopting (applicable whole range countries) while considering its specification.
