Learning the single-dominant modal system on resonant sloshing in a rectangular tank

چکیده

A machine learning technique is proposed to derive the damping rate functions in co-called single-dominant modal system describing resonant liquid sloshing a rectangular tank performing harmonic longitudinal motions. Its implementation demonstrated for steady-state (periodic) resonance waves when admits an analytical asymptotic solution depending on introduced functions. Recent experiments by Bäuerlein & Avila (2021) are employed show that viscous of higher natural modes matters, and depend wave amplitude.
