چکیده
The objective of this work is to augment the basic abilities a robot by learning use sensorimotor primitives solve complex long-horizon manipulation problems. This requires flexible generative planning that can combine primitive in novel combinations and, thus, generalize across wide variety In order plan with actions, we must have models actions: under what circumstances will executing successfully achieve some particular effect world? We use, and develop improvements to, state-of-the-art methods for active sampling. Gaussian process constraints on skill effectiveness from small numbers expensive-to-collect training examples. addition, efficient adaptive sampling generating comprehensive diverse sequence continuous candidate control parameter values (such as pouring waypoints cup) during planning. These become end-effector goals traditional motion planners then full performs skill. By using conjunction, take advantage strengths each dynamic tasks. demonstrate our approach an integrated system, combining robotics newly learned task planner. evaluate both simulation real world through measuring quality selected actions. Finally, apply system simulated real-world

Towards Robot Task Planning From Probabilistic Models of Human Skills
We describe an algorithm for motion planning based on expert demonstrations of a skill. In order to teach robots to perform complex object manipulation tasks that can generalize robustly to new environments, we must (1) learn a representation of the effects of a task and (2) find an optimal trajectory that will reproduce these effects in a new environment. We represent robot skills in terms of ...

Learning object deformation models for robot motion planning
In this paper, we address the problem of robot navigation in environments with deformable objects. The aim is to include the costs of object deformations when planning the robot’s motions and trade them off against the travel costs. We present our recently developed robotic system that is able to acquire deformation models of real objects. The robot determines the elasticity parameters by physi...

this study compared the different effects of form-focused guided planning vs. meaning-focused guided planning on iranian pre-intermediate students’ task performance. the study lasted for three weeks and concentrated on eight english structures. forty five pre-intermediate iranian students were randomly assigned to three groups of guided planning focus-on-form group (gpfg), guided planning focus...
15 صفحه اولLearning Sampling Distributions for Robot Motion Planning
A defining feature of sampling-based motion planning is the reliance on an implicit representation of the state space, which is enabled by a set of probing samples. Traditionally, these samples are drawn either probabilistically or deterministically to uniformly cover the state space. Yet, the motion of many robotic systems is often restricted to “small” regions of the state space, due to e.g. ...
