LEARNING BEHAVIOUR IN AN EXTRAORDINARY SITUATION

Closures of higher educational institutions and cancellation in-person classes caused by COVID-19 made ESP teachers in Montenegro find alternative ways to transform the serious emergency into an important opportunity foster innovation area teaching online. This paper deals with students’ responsiveness employing new methods aimed at increasing learner autonomy virtual environment during pandemic, which inevitably encouraged use technology. The study focuses on two groups students (19 second-year Faculty Visual Arts 43 third-year Information Technology, University Mediterranean Podgorica, Montenegro) their response ESP, as well results they achieved mid-term final exams. are compared those that same group previous semester, providing a comparative analysis impact online learning behaviour accomplishments extraordinary situation.
