LEACH-MTC: A Network Energy Optimization Algorithm Constraint as Moving Target Prediction

When some nodes cooperatively track moving targets in a wireless sensor network, things including network working node selection and energy consumption are influenced. Thus, this paper proposes an improved algorithm LEACH-MTC (LEACH with Moving Target Constraint) based on low adaptive clustering hierarchy protocol (LEACH). First, the two-step linearization of nonlinear dynamic model, state target is predicted by extended Kalman filter (EKF). Second, combining prediction performance collaborative monitoring, constructs ellipse monitoring area to consist direction movement. Subsequently, sleep strategy corresponding designed. Finally, cluster head proposed balance utilizing target. Simulation results show that can not only ensure real-time consistency between changing movement, but also increase number nodes’ survival reduce consumption.
