چکیده
Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease with deep-seated lesions in the apocrine gland areas of body. Recruitment and activation innate adaptive immune cells around hair follicles drive initiation progression HS; however, nature cell populations underlying mechanisms remain unclear. scRNAseq revealed that NK CD4 T were major lymphocyte HS. Confocal microscopy showed HS, but not normal skin, contained elevated numbers CD56dim CD3+CD56bright cells. These classical highly cytolytic primarily within epidermis sinus tracts HS they expressed high levels perforin granzyme A. In contrast, (NK-T cells) restricted to tracts. The NK-T associated α-SMA expressing enriched fibroblasts, feature fibrosis. Notably, also CD2, receptor signals augmented activity increased production IFN-γ. keratinocytes CD58 (LFA-3), counter-receptor for CD2. IL-15 IL-18; cytokines induced after engagement miR150 miR155, micro RNAs necessary maturation cytotoxicity, respectively. To test CD2 blockade will be beneficial, from patients cultured presence anti-CD2 mAb or control IgG. led significant decrease HS-associated (IL-6, IL-15, IL-18, IFN-γ) chemokines (IL-8, MIP1α, RANTES, IP10). sum, this study show distinct are contributors as well fibrosis likely viable novel therapy

Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic, relapsing, inflammatory disease process that primarily involves the axilla and/or inguinal region and does not manifest itself until after puberty. Typically, the process begins as a local occlusive disease of a sweat gland; secondary bacterial infection then occurs. The early stages of hidradenitis suppurativa are usually managed by the dermatologist. Onc...

Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic disease characterized by recurrent, painful, deep-seated, rounded nodules and abscesses of apocrine gland-bearing skin. Subsequent suppuration, sinus tracts and hypertrophic scarring are its main features. Onset is usually after puberty, although it is most common during the third decade and may persist in old age. The disease tends to be chronic and may de...
