Atlantoaxial osteoarthritis (AAOA) is a unique clinical syndrome that differs from other degenerative disorders. It heterogeneous disease associated with the loss of integrity articular cartilage changes in underlying bone and cortical edges. One biggest challenges AAOA making diagnosis. In dentistry, given increasing use cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to evaluate maxillofacial structures, it likely dentists will encounter these lesions on CBCT scans. extremely important for dentist sistematically examine anatomical structures then teeth during radiographic evaluation terms early diagnosis prevent delays treatment. This article presents case accompanied by subchondral cysts as random finding CBCT.

The incidence of pineal cysts (PC) in "standard" MRI was reviewed. Seven cases of PC were found from 400 consecutive MRI examinations. PC did not produce clinically relevant symptoms in any of the patients. Our data, as well as those emerging from a critical review of the literature, suggest that PC are often asymptomatic and represent an incidental MRI finding.
