Investigation of resistive switching in anodized titanium dioxide thin films
In this work, TiO2 nanostructures were grown on titanium thin films by electrochemical anodizing method. The bipolar resistive switching effect has been observed in Pt/TiO2/Ti device. Resistive switching characteristics indicated the TiO2 nanotubes are one of the potential materials for nonvolatile memory applications. Increasing anodizing duration will increase nanotube lengths which itself c...
متن کاملReusable photocatalytic titanium dioxide-cellulose nanofiber films.
Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is a well-studied photocatalyst that is known to break down organic molecules upon ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. Cellulose nanofibers (CNFs) act as an attractive matrix material for the suspension of photocatalytic particles due to their desirable mechanical and optical properties. In this work, TiO2-CNF composite films were fabricated and evaluated for photocatalytic ac...
متن کاملApplication of Laser-Induced Bone Therapy by Carbon Dioxide Laser Irradiation in Implant Therapy
This study evaluated the application of laser-induced bone therapy (LIBT) to reduce implant healing time in rat tibia. Twenty 10-week-old female Sprague-Dawlay rats were used. The rats received laser irradiation (laser group) or sham operation (control group) on either side of the tibia. Five days after invasion, titanium implants were inserted in proximal tibia. Five, 10, and 20 days after imp...
متن کاملUltrafast laser-induced phase transitions in amorphous GeSb films.
Time-resolved measurements of the spectral dielectric function reveal new information about ultrafast phase transitions induced by femtosecond laser pulses in Sb-rich amorphous GeSb films. The excitation generates a nonthermal phase within 200 fs. The dielectric function of this phase differs from that of the crystalline phase, contrary to previous suggestions of a disorder-to-order transition....
