Objective: To determine whether stage of medical training, specialty choice, or other work/training stressors contribute to the presence laryngopharyngeal reflux in physicians, fellows, residents, and students.Study Design: Cross-sectional surveySetting: Urban academic center its affiliated schoolMethods: A 21-item survey was sent out via e-mail all physicians students. Questions within this assessed their level training lifestyle risk factors for reflux. The Mini-Z physician burnout scale also incorporated assess workplace burnout.
