چکیده
The albedo is a fundamental component of the processes that govern energy budget, and particularly important in context climate change. However, satellite-based high-resolution (30 m) product which can be used polar regions up to 82.5° latitude during summer seasons lacking. To cover this gap, study we calculate broadband from Landsat 8 OLI validate it against measurements situ stations located on Antarctic Greenland icesheets. model derive raw satellite data includes an atmospheric topographic correction conversion narrow-band albedo, at each step different options were taken into account, order provide best combination corrections. Results, after being cleaned anomalous data, show good agreement with measurements, mean absolute error between 0.021, root square 0.026, standard deviation 0.015, correlation coefficient 0.995 (p < 0.01) bias estimate ?0.005. Considering structure model, could applied previous sensors family help construct record analyze variations regions.

Validation of the Calibration Coefficient of the GaoFen-1 PMS Sensor Using the Landsat 8 OLI
The panchromatic and multispectral (PMS) sensor is an optical imaging sensor aboard the Gao Fen-1 (GF-1) satellite. This work describes an approach to validate the calibration coefficients of the PMS sensors based on the image data of the Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager (OLI). Two image pairs, one obtained over the Dunhuang test site and the other over the Golmud test site, were used in this ...

This paper presents the vicarious calibration results of Landsat 8 OLI that were obtained using the reflectance-based approach at test sites in Nevada, California, Arizona, and South Dakota, USA. Additional data were obtained using the Radiometric Calibration Test Site, which is a suite of instruments located at Railroad Valley, Nevada, USA. The results for the top-of-atmosphere spectral radian...
متن کاملLandsat-8 Operational Land Imager (OLI) Radiometric Performance On-Orbit
Expectations of the Operational Land Imager (OLI) radiometric performance onboard Landsat-8 have been met or exceeded. The calibration activities that occurred prior to launch provided calibration parameters that enabled ground processing to produce imagery that met most requirements when data were transmitted to the ground. Since launch, calibration updates have improved the image quality even...
متن کاملToward Monitoring Surface and Subsurface Lakes on the Greenland Ice Sheet Using Sentinel-1 SAR and Landsat-8 OLI Imagery
Supraglacial lakes are an important component of the Greenland Ice Sheet’s mass balance and hydrology, with their drainage affecting ice dynamics. This study uses imagery from the recently launched Sentinel-1A Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite to investigate supraglacial lakes in West Greenland. A semi-automated algorithm is developed to detect surface lakes from Sentinel-1 images during...
متن کاملOcean Color Measurements from Landsat-8 OLI using SeaDAS
The Operational Land Imager (OLI) is a multi-spectral radiometer hosted on the recently launched Landsat-8 satellite. OLI includes a suite of relatively narrow spectral bands at 30-meter spatial resolution in the visible to shortwave infrared that make it a potential tool for ocean color radiometry: measurement of the reflected spectral radiance upwelling from beneath the ocean surface that car...
