چکیده
This paper outlines land-use/landscape pattern changes and relationships between land-use change trajectories environmental variables in the Dong ethnic-minority village of Gaoyou southwestern China. In study, landscape metrics were applied to evaluate land use patterns using GeoEye-1 satellite imagery for 2009/2020 drone 2019, redundancy analysis (RDA) was clarify relationship variables. The 10–30% observed across each time sequence indicated rapid development area, resulting increased fragmentation reduced aggregation. findings showed efficient usage resources Gaoyou. Accessibility tended govern characteristics change, with natural influencing type development. results also that farmers responded quickly government subsidies promoting tea camellia plantations, unplanned road construction causing fragmentation, official map content differed from authors’ observations. Accordingly, should make integrated long-term plans villages engage remote-sensor monitoring local change.

متن کاملUnderstanding Driving Forces and Implications Associated with the Land Use and Land Cover Changes in Portugal
Understanding the processes of land use and land cover changes (LUCC) and the associated driving forces is important for achieving sustainable development. This paper presents the LUCC in Portugal at the regional level (NUTS II) from 1995 to 2010 and discusses the main driving forces and implications associated with these LUCC. The main objectives of this work are: (a) to quantify the land use ...
متن کاملExternal Costs as Driving Forces of Land Use Changes
Land conversion is often not carried out in a sustainable way. The loss of arable land and biodiversity, concern about food security and rising costs of infrastructure due to urban sprawl are just some of the problems under discussion. This paper compares Germany, China and Cambodia. The article points out that, despite huge differences in institutions and governance, unsustainable land use cha...
متن کاملDriving Forces in Archetypical Land-Use Changes in a Mountainous Watershed in East Asia
Identifying patterns and drivers of regional land use changes is crucial for supporting land management and planning. Doing so for mountain ecosystems in East Asia, such as the So-yang River Basin in South Korea, has until now been a challenge because of extreme social and ecological complexities. Applying the techniques of geographic information systems (GIS) and statistical modeling via multi...
متن کاملLand use changes and its driving forces in hilly ecological restoration area based on gis and rs of northern china
Land use change is one of the important aspects of the regional ecological restoration research. With remote sensing (RS) image in 2003, 2007 and 2012, using geographic information system (GIS) technologies, the land use pattern changes in Yimeng Mountain ecological restoration area in China and its driving force factors were studied. Results showed that: (1) Cultivated land constituted the lar...
