چکیده
The Tarim River is the longest inland river in China and considered as an important to protect oasis economy environment of Basin. However, excessive exploitation over-utilization natural resources, particularly water have triggered a series ecological environmental problems, such reduction volume main river, deterioration quality, drying up downstream rivers, degradation vegetation, land desertification. In this study, use/land cover change (LUCC) responses conveyance lower reaches were investigated using ENVI (Environment for Visualizing Images) GIS (Geographic Information System) data analysis software period 1990–2018. Multi-temporal remote sensing images from 1990 2018 used. results indicate that LUCC covered area 2644.34 km2 during period, accounting 15.79% total study area. From 2018, wetland, farmland, forestland, artificial surfaces increased by 533.42 (216.77%), 446.68 (123.66%), 284.55 (5.67%), 57.51 (217.96%), respectively, whereas areas grassland other types, Gobi, bare soil, deserts, decreased 103.34 (14.31%) 1218.83 (11.75%), respectively. Vegetation first then increased, with order 2010<2000<1990<2018. overflow stagnant was mainly characterized fragmentation, irregularity, complexity. By analyzing 19 rounds 2000 end we proposed guidelines rational development utilization soil resources formulation strategies sustainable River. This provides scientific guidance optimal scheduling region.

Spatial Pattern of Populus euphratica Forest Change as Affected by Water Conveyance in the Lower Tarim River
To restore declining species, including Populus euphratica and other riparian communities, in the river ecosystem of the lower Tarim River, the ecological water conveyance project (EWCP), as a part of an integrated water resource management plan, was implemented in 2000. The EWCP aims to schedule and manage the water resources in the upper reaches and transfer water to the lower reaches by a se...
متن کاملLand use and land cover change analysis and prediction in the upper reaches of the Minjiang River, China.
Scientists have aimed at exploring land use and land cover change (LUCC) and modeling future landscape pattern in order to improve our understanding of the causes and consequences of these phenomena. This study addresses LUCC in the upper reaches of Minjiang River, China, from 1974 to 2000. Based on remotely sensed images, LUCC and landscape pattern change were assessed using cross-tabulation a...
متن کاملLandscape Ecological Risk Responses to Land Use Change in the Luanhe River Basin, China
Land use change has large effects on natural ecosystems, which is considered to be the main factor in eco-environment change. We analyzed the future characters of land use change by the CLUE-S model and explored landscape ecological risk responses to land use change by the landscape ecological risk index method. Using the Luanhe River Basin as a case study, we simulated future land use change f...
متن کاملEvaluation of oasis stability in the lower reaches of the Tarim River
Oasis stability in the lower reaches of the Tarim River was assessed at the landscape scale (including changes in landscape pattern and land use in the oasis) and at the regional scale (including the cold-island effect and NDVI of the oasis) based on the methods of landscape ecology, GIS and Remote Sensing (RS). Thematic Mapping (TM) remote sensing images from 1990, 2000 and 2009 were employed ...

Predicting the impact of land cover and climate change on hydrologic responses using modeling tools are essential in understanding the movement and pattern of hydrologic processes within the watershed. The paper provided potential implications of land conversions and climate change scenarios on the hydrologic processes of Muleta watershed using soil and water assessment tool model. Model inputs...
