Abstract Research background As part of the process structural transformation that countries go through in their development journey, relative significance agriculture as a sector typically shrinks over time. Nonetheless, agricultural maintains its terms trade potential and global employment prospects to this day. The extant literature largely neglects impact countries’ land resources on by emphasizing farm size productivity nexus. This justifies exploration causal nexus between exports. Purpose study herein aims at investigating total exports for 174 selected period 1991–2019. methodology Dumitrescu Hurlin’s (2012) test Granger non-causality heterogeneous panels is harnessed. Results Estimation results evidence presence bi-directional causality (feedback) not only whole panel (1991–2019) but also subpanels too (1991–2000, 2001–2010, 2011–2019).
