Land Procurement for Public Interest Against Destroyed Land: Natural Events and Legal Certaint

Based on a case study the construction of Semarang-Demak Toll Road, this aims to investigate and land acquisition for public interest that has been destroyed as result natural events its legal certainty. The research method used is socio-legal with primary data in identification, field measurements, other supporting data. Road property demonstrated tidal inundation north shore. Subsidence exacerbates Semarang's flooding. On flooded land, sea dikes retention ponds prevent floods. If just transportation, can be built flood-free areas or over sea, like Bali's Mandra Road. Land concerns delayed Lack limitations purchases. In acquisition, not problem under Indonesian law. 2021's Regulation 18 defines land. Destroyed will drive people take better care their more concerned about global warming subsidence. state honors landowner's emotional connection by paying spiritual care.
