Konsep Al-Birr dalam Tafsir Fi Zilal Al-Qur’an

This paper will discuss the issue of textual and contextual concepts al-birr in Qur'an according to Sayyid Qutb tafseer fi Zilal al-Qur'an. After that it be explained detail differences model goodness based on mufassir, express modern opinion contained his interpretation. classifies into 3 virtues, namely religion, social character. Each verse containing lafad has different models methods. The results this study include: first, explains is instinct every human being has. understanding obedience, piety, kindness, compassion, truth, things do a lot good, generosity, heaven, heart, accept, acceptable. Second, initiates (al-birr) dimensions, dimension character dimension. religion can good when man's relationship Lord with all worship he does. its humans, animals other beings gets along well, respecting each understanding. one always trains oneself put others above their own interests direct passions direction.
