Knowledge Transfers from Federally Funded Research and Development Centers

Abstract The findings from a study of the relationship between postdoctoral students and R&D at Federally Funded Research Development Centers (FFRDCs) are presented in this paper. goal is not only to understand better knowledge transfers publicly supported but also estimate returns conducted federally funded laboratories. Using public domain data related FFRDCs, published by US National Science Foundation, elasticity doctoral estimated over years 2010–2019 be about 0.85. This compares well previous studies R&D.
