Knowledge representation in digital agriculture: A step towards standardised model

In recent years, data science has evolved significantly. Data analysis and mining processes become routines in all sectors of the economy where datasets are available. Vast repositories have been collected, curated, stored, used for extracting knowledge. And this is becoming commonplace. Subsequently, we extract a large amount knowledge, either directly from or through experts given domain. The challenge now how to exploit knowledge that previously known efficient decision-making processes. Until recently, much gained number years research stored static bases ontologies, while more diverse dynamic acquired studies not centrally consistently managed. research, propose novel model called ontology-based map represent store results (knowledge) crop farming build, maintain, enrich process discovery. proposed consists six main sets: concepts, attributes, relations, transformations, instances, states. This facilitates access, updates, exploitation at any time. paper also proposes an architecture handling knowledge-based model. system includes modelling, extraction, assessment, publishing, exploitation. implemented agriculture management monitoring. It proven be very effective promising its extension other domains.
