چکیده
Background: This study investigated the association between long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) and coronary heart disease (CHD) further elucidated potential biological roles of lncRNAs in CHD pathogenesis. Methods: A case-control (590 patients 590 controls) was conducted from February 2017 March 2019 Fuzhou, China. Environmental factors were using questionnaires physical examinations. Five representative screened lncRNA microarray (peripheral blood 5 cases verified by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction leukocyte 100 controls). Oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL) used to induce a human artery endothelial cell (HCAECs) injury model, loss function elucidate role ENST00000609755.1 (lnc-MICALL2-2) oxLDL-induced HCAECs injury. Results: total 320 found dysregulated (fold change> 2, p < 0.05). The results discovery microarray, population verification HCAEC experiments suggested lnc-MICALL2-2 is upregulated subjects an model. Conversely, inhibition vitro attenuated effects oxLDL on morphology, proliferation, apoptosis. Conclusion: Elevated expression independent risk factor for CHD, knockdown subsequently confers protection against early pathological processes CHD.

Antibodies against oxLDL and acute coronary syndrome.
BACKGROUND The oxidation of low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL) induces the formation of immunogenic epitopes in molecules. The presence of autoantibodies against oxLDL has been demonstrated in the serum of patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). However, the role of these autoantibodies in the pathophysiology of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) and their clinical significance remain undefined. ...
متن کاملMacrophage alternative activation confers protection against lipotoxicity-induced cell death
OBJECTIVE Alternative activation (M2) of adipose tissue resident macrophage (ATM) inhibits obesity-induced metabolic inflammation. The underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Recent studies have shown that dysregulated lipid homeostasis caused by increased lipolysis in white adipose tissue (WAT) in the obese state is a trigger of inflammatory responses. We investigated the role of M2 macrophages ...

متن کاملEvaluation of Apolipoprotein A5 Polymorphism in Coronary- Heart Disease Patients
Background and Objectives: Apolipoprotein A5 (APOA5) gene is important in determining plasma triglyceride levels, a major cardiovascular disease risk factor. Mutation in this gene affected plasma triglyceride level. We looked for possible associations of the APOA5 gene polymorphism S19W with coronary heart disease (CHD) in a sample of Iranian population. Materials and Methods: A total of 7...
