Knee osteoarthritis severity concerning neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio

چکیده
Osteoarthritis (OA) is a disease with significant inflammatory component. Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) level marker to determine inflammation. The study aimed evaluate the association between severity of knee OA and NLR. A case-control was conducted in Al-Zahrawi from June 2017 2018. total 100 knees were recruited 50 healthy subjects as control group. NLR significantly higher than controls, mean value (2.19±0.72) (1.97±0.88), respectively. Older age, chronic pain, prolong onset diagnosis high associated severe OA. Knee had compared people. Higher it poor indicator.

Neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio and platelet to lymphocyte ratio can predict the severity of gallstone pancreatitis
BACKGROUND Neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) predict severity in various diseases. In this study, we evaluated the value of NLR and PLR as prognostic factors in acute pancreatitis (AP). METHODS Patients with AP were prospectively enrolled from March 2014 to September 2016 at Yonsei University Wonju College of Medicine. NLR and PLR were obtained at adm...

The neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) has been shown to be associated with prognosis in various types of cancer. We evaluated pretreatment NLR as a predictor of poor prognosis in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and we compared the prognostic value of NLR with other prognostic scores. We retrospectively analyzed 825 patients diagnosed with HCC between October 2008 and May 2012. ...
متن کاملRelationship between Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte Ratio and the Severity of Coronary Artery Disease in Patients Undergoing Cardiac Catheterization
Introduction: Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is considered as an independent predictor of long-term prognosis in the individual patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). This study sought to assess the relationship between NLR and CAD severity in Iranian patients undergoing cardiac catheterization.Material and Methods: This prospective study was conducted on 500 patients with acute cor...

The pretreatment neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is reportedly associated with the clinical outcomes of many cancers. However, it has not been widely investigated whether the pretreatment NLR is associated with the pathological characteristics of prostate cancer (PCa) and biochemical recurrence in PCa patients receiving radical prostatectomy (RP).In this cohort study, a total of 1688 PCa p...
