چکیده
17α-estradiol (αE2), an endogenous stereoisomer of the hormone 17β-estradiol (E2), is capable binding to estrogen receptors (ER). We aimed mathematically describe, using experimental data, possible interactions between αE2 and sperm ER during process capacitation develop a kinetic model. The goal was compare suggested model with previously published results E2 17α-ethynylestradiol (EE2). HPLC-MS/MS method developed monitor changes concentration capacitation. calculated relative concentrations Bt were used for analysis. Rate constants k molar ratio n optimized construction theoretical B(t) curves. Modifications in αE2–ER discovered comparison models EE2. These new displayed autocatalytic formation unstable adduct cytoplasmic receptors. accumulates plasma membrane lipid bilayer increasing potential, when critical level reached, penetrates through inner layer into cytoplasm. It then rapidly reacts creates adduct. revealed dynamics action may contribute understanding tissue rejuvenation cancer-related physiology signaling.

Simultaneous Degradation of Estrone, 17β-Estradiol and 17α-Ethinyl Estradiol in an Aqueous UV/H2O2 System
UV/H₂O₂, which is an advanced treatment technology used to reduce multiple contaminants, is effective in potable water treatment. Simultaneous degradation effects and kinetics of three types of coexisting micropollutant estrogens (steroid estrogens, SEs), including estrone (E1), 17β-estradiol (E2) and 17α-ethinyl estradiol (EE2), in deionized water were studied. Experiments were carried out wit...

Sexually mature pigs are known to possess high concentrations of testicular steroids, which have been shown to change the activities of cytochrome P450 in vitro. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the regulation of CYP1A and CYP2E1 activity by the steroids dihydrotestosterone (DHT), 3β-androstenol, 17β-estradiol and 17α-estradiol. Catalytic activities of 7-ethoxyresorufin O-deethylase...

Selenastrum capricornutum and Chlamydomonas reinhardtii were tested for possible biodegradation of the hormones β-estradiol (E2) and 17α-ethinylestradiol (EE2) when cultured in anaerobic digester centrate (ADC). Neither ADC nor the hormones had a negative or toxic effect on the microalgae growth but enhanced it. E2 and EE2 biodegradation was evaluated under different culture conditions. After 7...

17β-Estradiol is the most potent natural estrogen commonly found in anthropogenically altered environments and has been the focus of many toxicological laboratory studies. However, fewer aquatic toxicological data on the effects of 17α-estradiol, a diastereoisomer of 17β-estradiol, exists in the literature even though it has been found in the aquatic environment, sometimes at higher concentrati...
متن کاملPhotodegradation of 17α-ethynylestradiol in nitrate aqueous solutions
17α-Ethynylestradiol (EE2) has gotten growing concerns due to its widely detected in the environment and high estrogenic potency. However, the knowledge on the photochemical behaviors of EE2 in natural waters is still limited. Herein, the photodegradation and estrogenic potency variation of EE2 induced nitrate were studied using a sunlight simulator consisted by a 300 W medium pressure mercury ...
