Abstract Position and orientation adjustment of the secondary mirror is one effective ways to improve image quality space camera. In order optimize structural design a 6-DOF Stewart platform for mirror, simulation method kinematics dynamics parallel manipulator based on virtual prototyping technology was studied. Firstly, ADAMS parametric model inverse mathematical are built. Secondly, theory analysis performed, analytical results were obtained by modeling. Thirdly, run in after prototype established. The consistent, which proved correctness model. Lastly, realized driving each strut using result kinematics. provided theoretical basis optimizing platform.
