Kidney Failure after Liver Transplantation

چکیده
One-third of patients with cirrhosis present kidney failure (AKI and CKD). It has multifactorial causes a harmful effect on morbidity mortality before after liver transplantation. Kidney function does not improve in all transplantation, transplant recipients are at high risk developing chronic disease. The renal dysfunction can be divided into three groups: pre-operative, perioperative post-operative factors. To date, there is no consensus the modality to evaluate disease or for its prevention. In this narrative review, we describe outcome prognostic factors order establish categorization each patient. Furthermore, discuss therapeutic options prevent context, highlight indications combined liver–kidney

NINE CASES OF MALIGNANCY AFTER KIDNEY TRANSPLANTATION
Renal transplantation is considered one of the best long-term therapies for chronic renal failure, but unfortunately the incidence of malignancy significantly increases in renal transplant recipients. We analyzed nine cases of malignancy in 200 renal transplant recipients occurring in a 12-year follow-up in Imam hospital of Tehran University, Tehran, Iran. According to this study, the organ...

Neurologic and psychologic complications are usually related to drug toxicity, infections or symptoms induced by deterioration of renal allograft function. Metabolic encephalopathy, hypertensive encephalopathy, cerebrovascular events, and new-onset seizures have all been reported in organ-transplant recipients. Infections can be caused by listeria, cryptococcus, nocardia, aspergillus and mu...
متن کاملLiver Transplantation after Exertional Heatstroke-Induced Acute Liver Failure
Exertional heatstroke (EHS) is a life-threatening disease characterized clinically by central nervous system dysfunction and severe hyperthermia. It frequently occurs among athletes, soldiers, and laborers. While cardiopulmonary symptoms are common in patients undergoing EHS, irreversible acute liver failure is a rarely described phenomenon. When managing cases of EHS complicated by acute liver...
متن کاملUtility in Treating Kidney Failure in End-Stage Liver Disease With Simultaneous Liver-Kidney Transplantation
BACKGROUND Simultaneous liver-kidney (SLK) transplantation plays an important role in treating kidney failure in patients with end-stage liver disease. It used 5% of deceased donor kidney transplanted in 2015. We evaluated the utility, defined as posttransplant kidney allograft lifespan, of this practice. METHODS Using data from the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients, we compared ou...
