Key stage and model of hydrocarbon accumulation of Ordovician reservoir in Gucheng area, Tarim Basin, China

The heterogeneity of deep carbonate reservoirs is strong, it significant for exploration and development to clarify the key stages oil gas accumulation. Taking Ordovician in Gucheng area Tarim Basin as an example, this paper systematically investigated stage model hydrocarbon accumulation using data cores, thin sections, cathode luminescence tests, laser ablation U-Pb isotope geochronometry, bitumen reflectance, fluid inclusion seismic interpretation. (1) mainly develops three sets effective source rocks, namely Cambrian Yuertusi Formation, Moheershan Mid-Lower Heituwa which are concentrated slope-basin facies eastern Basin. (2) located a favorable paleo-structural position. pathway system composed vertical faults lateral unconformities occurs paleo-uplift, critical migration (3) in-situ dating, distribution genesis reservoir bitumen, burial-thermal maturation history, homogenization temperature inclusions suggest that multi-stage tectonic thermal events Caledonian Hercynian result adjustment modification Due magmatic hydrothermal activities, primary massively evolved into oil-cracking residual paleo-oil reservoirs.
