Ketones Production by Catalytic Pyrolysis of Cellulose Using Iron-Modified Ni-Co Composite Catalyst: Products Distribution, Behaviour and Bio-oil Characteristics

In this work, the iron-modified Ni-Co composite catalyst was synthesized, and its catalytic effect on product distribution, behaviour liquid characteristics deeply studied. The result showed that synthesized significantly improved pyrolysis of cellulose, decomposition cellulose occurred earlier. highest yield 56.79wt%, which obtained by adding NCF-6 catalyst. optimal ratio in sample 5%, temperature 530°C. introduction enhanced anhydrosugars promoted generation ketones liquid. content 25.12%. Further analysis selectivity 2(5H)-Furanone component strongest. These works provided an effective way to produce ketone-rich bio-oil from biomass.
