KATARAKT AMELİYATI SONRASI GEÇ DÖNEMDE FARKEDİLEN DESCEMET MEMBRAN DEKOLMANINA YAKLAŞIM

We aimed to present the differential diagnosis and treatment of Descemet membrane detachment (DMD) in a patient with acute corneal edema after phacoemulsification surgery. A 52-year-old female presented our clinic visual impairment secondary DMD, which was noticed on postoperative 16th day routine surgery left eye. On day, acuity case was; 0.8 right eye from 50 cm at level counting finger. In biomicroscopic examination nuclear sclerosis eye, diffuse except upper temporal region followed. Intraocular pressures were normal both eyes. fundus examination, ultrasonographically like although cannot be evaluated clearly. Anterior segment optical cohorens tomography (ASOCT) performed suspicion DMD. ASOCT images showed hyperreflective band that forming second anterior chamber under epithelial stromal edema. The being diagnosed DMD related this perfluoropropane (C3F8) injection made into chamber. third following injection, cornea transparent for paracentral descemet wrinkles, there gas appearance increased 0.2 according snellen. This shows us intracameral injections can an effective modality DMDs exceeding two weeks.
